A few months ago I was awarded the Provost’s Grant from Northeastern University to attend a conference in Chicago.  The conference, SOBCon09, proved to be a very beneficial expereince for me.  I gained insight, contacts, and oh yes, I learned a bit about blogging.  Well, the grant didn’t stop there.  Thanks to Missy Ward, fellow SOBCon09 attendee, she allowed all SOBCon members into Affiliate Summit.  So this means that my $1,000 grant from Boston stretched from SOBCon09 in Chicago all the way to Affiilate Summit in New York City.  This goes to show you that when you ask for things, you not only might get them, but they might keep coming, long after you’ve asked.  :-)
