Digital Anthropology

UPDATE: I recently took a position with an entertainment management company in New York City.  I’m very excited for the position and can’t wait to move back to the city.  Thank you everyone for all your support regarding my RFP.  The response was overwhelming and humbling.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
I’m Sarah Merion and I go to Northeastern University in Boston.  I study Finance and Management Information Systems, with a minor in Spanish.  Northeastern is a cool school.  If you don’t know about it, they have a co-op program.

Um…. what is co-op?  Co-op is a program in which students work for a company for 6 months.  During that time, we don’t go to school – we work full-time, paid positions and get real world, hands on experience.  They like to call this approach “experiential learning” or “practical education”.

I’ve previously co-op’ed (yes, we use it as a verb) with the Institutional Sales team at a large fund of hedge funds in New York City.  That was from July to December of last year, and what a WILD RIDE it was!!

Now, I’m looking to do another co-op to start in July.

  • If you don't hire Sarah. You'll be missing out on a rising star within finance and social media. She has a habit of getting on things at the right time. If you trust her to guide you, you won't be disappointed.
  • You really know how to make a girl smile, Stuart. Thanks for your trust and support!

Stuart's jacket might be lost but he's in firm possession of his innuendo. Fantabulous, I say.

If I catch word of anybody looking for a loyal philanthropist to do backflips for 40+hrs a week, you have my word that I'll call you first.

Really though, that's quite the list of talents.

I'd not have the nerve to post such a list. I only have 5-6 things. I shall expect a demonstration of the back flip when the time is right. =)

    Good luck with your search!
  • If I don't ask, I don't receive... I like how you said "when the time is right". I respect that you work at your own pace. I really do. And thanks for the support Seth, I really do appreciate your comment :-)

There are "wrong" times for backflips, you know. You've used "I really do" twice with only six words between...I'll leave it to you, the self-described word wolf, to figure out what to do about that.

I can't do backflips, you see. I'm afraid I'll fall and hurt my hunchback.
