If there was ever a stumble, this is it. I Googled “new york times best seller trust agents” because I was doing a little research regarding Chris Brogan and Julien Smith’s book. As I was on Amazon’s site viewing all the New York Times Best Seller’s, something caught my attention. It was the fact that Lauren Conrad’s name was on the same page. Her name was freakishly close to the words “New York Times Best Seller”. Apparently, her book is has the #1 selling Children’s Chapter book on Amazon.

What astonishes me is that Lauren Conrad even HAS a book out. But even more so, I am astonished that it is the #1 selling Children’s Chapter book. How did this happen? To add even more to my confusion, take a look at this:

#6 in Books > Teens > Social Issues > Dating & Intimacy > Fiction?!
I can’t even comment. Please remember that she is #1 in CHILDREN’S BOOKS. Please, someone, tell me how the “dating & intimacy” category ended up in the #1 CHILDREN’S BOOK? Anyone wanna take a stab at this?
